The 16th international symposium on insect-plant relationships will take place from the 2nd to 6th of July 2017, in Tours, France.
The congress venue, the Thélème Auditorium, is located in the center of Tours, in the buildings of the University François-Rabelais. Venue address : 3 rue des Tanneurs, 37041 Tours.
The event will follow the lead of previous SIP meetings and address the latest developments in research on the relationships between plants, insects and associated microorganisms, from physiological mechanisms to ecological and evolutionary processes.
Proceedings
Wiley-Blackwell and the editors of Entomologia Experimentalis et Applicata have agreed to publish the proceedings of SIP-16 as a special issue of the journal, as has been the case for previous SIP meetings.
The SIP 2017 is connected to the COST FA1405 using three-way interactions between plants, microbes and arthropods to enhance crop protection and production.
